Nathan Kerr

Nathan Kerr is a PhD student at University of Newcastle, researching military veterans and their transition into civilian life. This is a continuation of his research into occupational therapy, PTSD, and the military. Nathan served in the Australian Army for 9 years, predominantly as a sniper, and in 2010, was medically discharged following a training accident in preparation for deployment into Asia. Through the combination of evidence-based practice and lived experience, Nathan endeavours to establish a wilderness program to better support military personnel to transition into military veteran status and civilian life roles.
