Kellie Toole


Kellie Toole practised as a criminal defence lawyer before joining the Adelaide Law School to teach criminal law. Her research interests cross criminal law and human rights, and her current projects include a PhD on independence and accountability in criminal prosecutions. She is on the Management Committee of the Law School’s Research Unit on Military Law and Ethics, and teaches postgraduate Commonwealth criminal law and military disciplinary law to military lawyers. She is also involved in a research project exploring the connection between military service and criminal offending, through interviews with veterans who are currently in prison.
